National Museum of Wales Friends St David's Tea Party

This year’s tea will be held on Friday 26 February 2016 at 3.00 pm in the Oriel Suite at the rear of the Restaurant of the Museum.
A light tea will be served and we are pleased to welcome Bethan Nia, the acclaimed harpist and singer of traditional Welsh music in both languages who will be performing songs fitting for the patronal day of St David. Bethan has appeared in events as diverse as the National Eisteddfod, the Glastonbury Festival, and the Lorient Inter-Celtic Festival in Brittany. She will be assisted in the performance by Meurig Williams,who is a member of the Friends.

Admission will be strictly by prior application only, the charge being £12 per person. In view of the expected demand, attendance will be confined to members of the Friends only. In the interests of fairness a ballot will be held should the numbers of those applying exceed the limited accommodation available in the Oriel Suite. Friends will be advised of the success or otherwise of their application in good time.
